Privacy Notice

This notice explains how Deglaze DNA Club (“we”, “us”) collects and processes your personal data through the Taste DNA Quiz, our website and our contact channels. It is prepared in accordance with Turkey's Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”), which governs how we, as a Turkey-based service, handle personal data.

2. What data we collect

Identity and contact information: your first name and email address.
Palate profile: your Taste DNA Quiz answers (flavour preferences, openness to experimentation, pace, drinks, travel companions).
Travel information: the destination you request curation for.
Optional interests: whether you would like invitations to members' dinners or a private day with our curator, and the language you used.

We do not collect payment details, national ID numbers, health data or any other special category of personal data.

3. Why we process your data

To prepare a personalised culinary itinerary and palate reading for you.
To review your application and get in touch with you.
To send you a confirmation email.
If you asked for it, to invite you to members' dinners or arrange a private day.

4. Legal basis

Your data is processed on the basis of your explicit consent, as provided for under Article 5 of the KVKK. By completing the quiz and submitting your information, you provide this consent.

5. Where your data goes

The quiz uses a third-party service, EmailJS, to deliver emails. This provider processes your data under its own privacy policy and may do so on servers outside Turkey.

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand site traffic in aggregate. It does not use cookies and does not identify you personally.

We do not share your data with any other third party.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as needed to provide the curation service and to reasonably follow up with you. If you request deletion, we remove it within 30 days at the latest.

7. Your rights under the KVKK

Learn whether your personal data is being processed.
Request information about how it has been processed.
Learn the purpose of processing and whether it is being used accordingly.
Request correction or deletion of your data.
Withdraw your consent at any time.
